Walmart has partnered with the Alphabet’s Wing drone company to launch delivery to consumers.
The drone delivery service is up and running in Atlanta, Charlotte, Dallas-Fort Worth and Houston. The companies also are eyeing South Florida, Orlando and Tampa, along with Los Angeles, Cincinnati and California’s Bay Area for the next wave of drone deliveries of items like last-minute groceries and over-the-counter medicine.
The companies demonstrated their drone delivery system during CoMOTION Miami at Miami Dade College’s Wolfson Campus on April 28.
